Victoria Watts was born to be an entrepreneur. Inspired by her father’s successful brewery business, she launched her first venture, Ipswich Ale Mustard in 1995. She then helped grow the business into a highly successful brand. Today, Ipswich Ale Mustard is still available at local grocery stores across Massachusetts.
She created VictoriaLand Beauty®, a brand at first created to help solve her own skincare concern – severe hyperpigmentation with the cleanest products possible.
Victoria learned that her fourth and youngest child, Cyrus, was born with Familial Exudative Vitreoretinopathy (FEVR), a rare hereditary disorder that affects the retina with symptoms that include vision loss or blindness, retinal detachment, and strabismus. According to the World Health Organization, Cyrus is one of an estimated 2 million children in the world affected.
After years of research, conducting focus groups and working alongside the Lighthouse Organization, Victoria determined that by combining QR code technology with a simple-to-use raised symbol system, she could design a highly effective method of sharing product identification and product usage to provide equal accessibility and universal benefits for all users.
CyR.U.S. is a one-of-a kind, patented, raised universal package system comprised of library of raised symbols and embossed QR Codes that make it easy and intuitive to identify products, learn about ingredients and understand usage. Right at your fingertips.
